Preconstruction Services
Kirkland's approach to preconstruction services involves schedule development and document review.
Schedule Development
- A project schedule is typically produced by Kirkland's project manager with input from the project team, subcontractors and vendors.
- A preliminary schedule is produced during the budgeting process. It is refined with each budget estimate.
- A final project schedule is generated after the final price and scope of work are agreed upon by key team members.
Document Review
- The process involves meeting as often as required during the schematic design development and the construction drawing phases.
- Project Request for Information (RFI) and Action Item Logs are developed by Kirkland to aid in the prompt transfer of information between all members of the project team.
- To ensure accurate information, if necessary, Kirkland involves outside consultants at no additional cost to the owner.

"It was quite a surprise to be able to move in a month earlier than expected. I have worked with good contractors and bad contractors, and you definitely are one of the good ones."
