PCH Centre
High Point, NC

Architect: Martin Senell
Sq. Feet: 30,000

Exterior "After"

John Charles Designs, a family-owned, California-based furniture maker, hired Kirkland to convert the historic Hall Printing Building in High Point, NC, into a three-story, 30,000 s.f. furniture showroom.

The essential characteristics of the building's exterior were maintained, but numerous interior walls were eliminated and most of the interior was updated.

The new entrance at the Hamilton and Commerce intersection features a three-story atrium inside and glass front elevator. New electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems were required as well as new roofing.

Metal siding on the first floor exterior was removed and bronze aluminum windows replaced existing windows to give the red brick building a sleeker look.
