Aetna's southeastern customer service center was constructed so that Nereus Mendenhall's oak trees, planted in the early 1850s, would be preserved and the history of High Point would live on despite progress.
The 227,000 s.f. building promotes North Carolina and its history with every conference room being named for a city or town in North Carolina. The construction of this facility was completed in 13 months.
